Darrell Lee Barger

I first met Darrell about 15 years ago. Over the years, he presented me as an expert several times before juries. We worked together in San Antonio on the last case he took to trial before he was way laid by illness. I've rarely worked with an attorney who was as insightful and astute about human nature as was Darrell. He was inspiring in his understanding of how the world worked. He exquisitely knew how to pick a jury and connect with them. His predictions about case outcomes were...

Darrell was a neighbor,friend,fellow Marine,and respected adversary. He was A+ in everything he did,in every way. The stories are many, and the humor and insight ever-present. He was an original. He is missed. We hada 30 yr trafition to exchange happy birthday ,marine ! Greetings every Nov 10th, and that birthday will now bear a sadness that every Marine will understand ...and those closest to him w Will too .one last time my brother- SEMPER FI.!
