Not sure what to say?

I knew Darrell for over 30 years and found him to be one of the kindest men I've ever known. Darrell was one of my scuba diver students and I was running a dive trip when I was informed of this tragedy. I will miss & pray for him.

We are so sorry to hear of Darrell's accident. My brother and I grew up knowing Darrell in Erie as kids. We moved to California and talked and saw Darrell on a couple occassions. Then we moved to Las Vegas and we recently in the last month or so got to see Darrell and got to meet Mary in Las Vegas. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and Fleetwood Mac evening together so much. It was such a fun time together with Darrell talking of old times and enjoying the company of his wonderful wife Mary that...

I was shocked and upset to hear of Darrell"s untimely death. I knew Darrell as a fellow skydiver and a friend. He will be truely missed but remembered well as a caring person and someone who lived life with strength and passion. So long Darrell you are in our thoughts and prayers. Ed Fisher - Erie.

My sincere condolences go out to Darrell's family. I knew Darrell as a friend when we were children, at Kingsley Methodist Church, and then later on,through social events of the M.W.F. Darrell was known for his talent and being an all- around decent and fun human being. Everyone enjoyed being in his company. I am saddened by this news, as are our mutual friends, Kathy Root (Briggs) and Susan Cumming (Yeaney). Darrell will be missed. God bless.

To Mary, Bill Sr., Linda and the Breakiron family. Our hearts are saddened by this tragic accident. Darrell was such a warm, caring, compassionate and creative person. We were glad he touched our lives during his short life. We extend our condolences and prayers.

I was profoundly moved and deeply saddened to hear of Darrell's passing. Darrell designed my wedding ring last August; I was impressed by his honesty, his talent, and his work ethic. I recommended him to everyone I knew. His family is in my prayers and thoughts, and I wish you love and comfort during this difficult time. God Bless You.

I first met Darrell soon after I arrived home from Viet Nam. That was over 32 years ago and I always considered him my best friend. Darrell was the most down to earth, honest and most trust-worthy friend a person could ever have. There are not enough words in my heart to express what a great individual this man was. My love and condolences go out to his wife, Mary and the rest of the Breakiron family. My family and I, will truly miss him and we will miss the good times that we've had...

I was so sad to hear about Darrell. I only knew him a short time when I worked at Moses' Jewelers. He was one of the nicest and most honest person I have ever known. You are all in my prayers.

Our heartfelt sympathy to the family
