Darrell and I were Track Co-Champion in the Hobby Division at BIR in 1970 (car #70). As a result we enjoyed a great evening at The Club with Tom Gloor. Darrell was a tough competitor but he always raced me fair. We never had a cross word and I enjoyed being around him. He was thought of highly for his racing ability and I never heard anyone talk badly about him. I know he will be sorely missed.

To the family of Darrell Brown: I am so sorry about the loss of your loved one. I went to Minor High School with Darrell, graduating one year after he did in 1963. He was always so nice and polite and touched many lives. I have not been in contact with him for many years but always thought so much of him. May you be comforted with the loving memories of him during this time of sorrow.
