Mary Ann, I just found news your loss. You two were like soulmates, so I imagine it´s quite an adjustment for you. I had the privilege of seeing Darrell at B.B.´s Lawnside BBQ when he was there with the Sigma Chi´s and I was there with the Southwest High School group. Darrell Corwin was one of the most innovative and successful basketball coaches in NAIA District 16 (Missouri) during the 1970s and 80s. His teams were nationally ranked, he coached numerous all-district and all-american players and led the Kangaroos to the 1978 NAIA National Tournament, still the only UMKC men's basketball team to qualify for postseason play.
