Darrell was such a huge part of the ECE Department at The Citadel for many years. He was a great friend and he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Below is a picture of him with my son, Jonathan from 2004. When I asked Jonathan (who was 4 at the time) if he remembered riding on the rail car, his answer was, "Of course! It's one of my best childhood memories!" Thank you, Darrell...your memory will forever be a part of who he is.
