Not sure what to say?

Darrell was a great man and will never be forgotten. I wish that I could have been there to say goodbye and see him one last time. Stay strong and remember all the great times you had with him and celebrate his life. He will be missed dearly.

Darrell was a good man and lived a full life. I thank him for his service to our country and the neat boat rides he gave us on his lake. It is unfortunate that medical science has not reached the point where diseases like his can be more effectively treated. It is sad, too, that his heart attack squelched his hope of a lung transplant, argggg. I am happy that I had a chance to say a last goodbye to Darrell and spend some time with Karla!

I am comforted by the fact that his family...

Karla and Family,
I attended class at Bellevue with Daryll for the 2008/2009 school year. He spoke of you often. I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing he's in a better place.

Karla, I am Darrell’s cousin Brad. We were pretty close cousins when we were kids; it still seems like yesterday. My Mom and Mary were sisters and we would visit them very often when they lived in Waterloo and after they moved to Keokuk. I remember I was with Darrell at their house in Waterloo when the Beatles debuted on Ed Sullivan. I remember getting into mischief and Uncle Buck getting after us. I remember Mom getting a call when Darrell was hit by a car riding his bike; he was in...

Karla, Brandie and Family. . . we are so sorry for your loss, but know that he'll be an angel watching over you all now. I pray that you can find peace from the fond memories you cherish of Darrell. May the Grace of our Lord give you strength and comfort during this very difficult time. Kim & Chuck Morrison and kids. . . .

Carla and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our prayers and sympathies are with all of you. May God send you peace and comfort.
Jessica and Justin Scholl

Karla,
My prayers are with you and your family. Go in Peace my friend.
Russ Hobson: (Gordmans- Omaha)

We are very sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. He will be greatly missed!

Karla and family,

"Those who see God can walk in the dark,
those who see love can see God.
Those who have witnessed the sun rise and set,
those who have studied a flower unfold,
those who have focused on land, sea and sky,
have seen Jesus Christ."

And now Darrell is sitting next to Jesus before God. May you find comfort in this.

DeColores!
