Diana, my heart broke when I hear the news. he was so young. How are you doing? Just remember, you will see him in heaven.

So sorry to hear this. Still has that great smile. He was a great teacher and my favorite math teacher at LHS.

The picture captures him perfectly. Mr. Falen was a kind man, having known him as a neighborhood father and teacher at LHS. I know he will be missed and my heart goes out to Steve, Diana and of course Carol.

We are with you today, in spirit, as you mourn the loss and celebrate the life of a wonderful husband, father and friend. Our love and prayers are with you all today.

My heart is so heavy to hear of Mr. Falen's passing. I can't tell you all the warm and cherished memories I have involving your family. After moving to Lawrence my 8th grade year and becoming friends with Diana, I spent many fun times at your home. I was always welcomed. I so appreciated Mr. Falen's gentle and sincere nature. Coach Falen was my football and basketball coach at LHS. I made every mistake possible yet he remained calm,positive and encouraging. Years later, our love for flying and golf brought us together as friends. We will all miss you.

In Virginia, through his beautiful daughter, Diana, is a part of him that will never die. We see so much of his love for life, through his daughter. His smile always warms our hearts with love. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Falen family.
