DECATUR - Darrell L. Larson, 75, of Decatur passed away at 8:57 a.m. Monday (Dec. 26, 2005) in McKinley Court. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 28, 2005) in North Fork Cemetery with visitation 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 27, 2005) at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home. Mr. Larson was born July 8, 1930 in Decatur, IL the son of Russell B. & Luella E. Reinholt Larson. He retired in 1987 from A.E. Staley after 38½ years of service. He loved gardening and rode in horse shows and rodeos. He married Mary Lou Pope on May 13, 1951. Surviving is his wife of Decatur; sons: Gary L. (Connie) Larson of Decatur, Mike L. (Lisa) Larson of O'Fallon, MO, Alan Y. (Debbie) Larson of North Port, FL and Russell D. (Kathy) Larson of Freeport, FL; daughter: Cheryl L. (Tim) Shuppara of Decatur; grandchildren: Chad, Jodi, Amy, Michael, Lance, Luke, Lianna, Darrell and Sara; great grandchildren: Bo, Bianca, Ty, Debbie, Dylan and Noah.
