Darrell Ledford Sr.

I will always know him as Mr. Ledford. He had a profound influence on my professional life from his introduction to distance learning to group class projects to bringing in the community to the classroom. I have taken this influence into both my high school and university teaching. He remains in my memory as a great and innovative teacher and community citizen.

So sorry for your great loss! Scooter and Elwanda your in my prayers.

Coach Ledford was a great teacher who genuinely cared about students and was quite influential in my decision to choose education as a career. He also allowed the cheerleaders to go with the team for burgers at the motel restaurant after games. That made him a hero in my book!
