Not sure what to say?

To all of you classmates who have a posted a message: He was so happy to have seen all of you at the reunion, he spoke about it with a huge smile on his face. I am greatful that he had that time with all of his wonderful friends. Thank you for that. He will be greatly missed...it meant a lot to read all of these messages. I will miss him terribly: He was and still is my daddy.

Darrel and I met in Freshman Football and I have always thought of him as the perfect friend, he never said anything negative about anyone. We had some good times. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I will pray for you and your's to get through the grief soon.

My deepest sympathy to Aly and the rest of Darrell's family. We had a great visit at our 40th class reunion and a real laugh about our high school date from hell. Darrell still had his youthful charm that we all remember so well. He was a terrific guy and a good friend.

I was a South High "66" classmate of Darrell's. It was great to see him at the 40th Reunion in July. Talked to him for a few minutes - he had a big smile on his face and was enjoying the evening. I am so sorry for your loss & also ours - he will be greatly missed by us all.

To the Lind Family: May God bless you and keep you in His tender loving arms. I have many fond memories from high school and was happy to visit with Darrell at the 40th reunion. I know he will be greatly missed and I'll keep all of you in my prayers in the difficult days ahead.

Darrell will be remembered by his friends as a kind, caring and fun person. I'm so grateful to have had a few moments with him at our high school reunion this past July.
My deepest sympathy goes out to his family during this time of great loss. May you find peace and comfort.

I last visited with Darrell at our high school reunion on July 15th. He was as friendly and fun to be with as our many times together in high school. He was pleased with his business which he mentioned he was in the process of selling. His only regret was that it kept him away from fishing. He was all smiles and looking forward to the future. He obviously was a man of faith. He will be missed by me and his other class mates of SHS Class of '66.

Darrell was a classmate at Omaha South. All of the class of 1966 who knew him was sadden to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to the family

I was a South High classmate of Darrell's. He will be greatly missed.
