Send FlowersMcLEAN, Darrell Lamont'e "Meatloaf", departed this life suddenly and received his white wings November 8, 2008. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, his parents, Dorothy and Clarence Fields and Dennis Vauters; four sisters, two brothers, a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at St. James Baptist Church of Varina, 2169 New Market Rd., Henrico, Va. 23231 today at 11 a.m. Senior Pastor Kevin L. Sykes officiating. Interment Washington Memorial Park. Remains will rest in church one hour prior to service.

I'm Diara. The oldest for those who don't know. I was too young at the time to even know what to say or if I even wanted to. But for those who are curious, I turned out ok.
