Darrell Sydney Rahn, 54, of Strasburg, Virginia, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Reston Hospital.
Mr. Rahn was born November 16, 1952 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Henrietta Bocke Rahn and the late Frederick Rahn. Mr. Rahn was a telecommunication engineer for TNS in Reston for six years. He was a member of Missouri Synod Lutheran Church in Missouri. Mr. Rahn was a horseman and pilot.
He married Sandra Kay Johnson Rahn in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on July of 1976.
Surviving with his wife of thirty years, is his daughter Renee Weston of Oakdale, Minnesota; two grandchildren; sister, Wilma Rahn, of Two harbors, Minnesota; and his brother, Donald Rahn of Popsham, Maine.
A funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 PM on Monday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday, from 6:30-7:30 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

My most heartfelt condolences to you all on Darrell's passing. He was such a sweet and kind man, he always had a friendly smile for everyone. I will forever remember him coming into TNS with an armful of eggs. :-) My best wishes to you in this time of grief, and hoping you have many wonderful memories of Darrell that in time will help close the wounds.
