Maria and Family
I'm so very sorry for your loss! Darrell was one of my favorite cousins even tho we didn't get to see much of each other. He was so like his dad, Uncle Gene, who was always my very favorite Uncle! He was always there for me!
You and yours please take care of yourselves and know Darrell is in a better place and being taken care of. He was very special and will be missed!
Love,
Your Cousin Sharon

As a teacher and mentor Darrell's presence was invaluable. He was always ready to share ,always took the extra time ...I have many a memory of Darrel here at First Transit. My last one was the skills course for drivers ,with Darrel at the BBQ happily flipping the burgers that we all so enjoyed.
His humor was contagious and I still chuckle at the videos and pics he always had to share...daschunds come to mind when I think of Darrel. The story of a hard headed horse and his sister comes to...

Maria and family - Duff and I were so saddened to read of Darrell's end of his cancer struggle - please know that we are praying for you. May God's presence fill your hearts with peace and assurance that He is carrying you through this difficult time. Our love - Duff and Susie Maiden

Maria, I have the pleasure of working with your and Darrell's son, Corbin. His kindness, sense of humor, generosity, and character clearly reflect the influence and guidance of the two of you. I have no doubt that Darrell was a good man, as reflected in his son. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Darrell at United Grocers in the late 80's and early 90's. I remember Darrell's can-do attitude and desire to take care of the business and make stuff happen. We at Unified Grocers are saddened to hear of his passing. Best wishes to the whole family.

Maria - You and I never met, but Darrell and I worked together for several years here @ LIFT. He often mentioned you during our many conversations about work, life, the Universe (and everything else.) He always talked about you with such love and pride in his voice that it was a pleasure to listen. He shared himself and his knowledge unstintingly and my world will be a little darker without him in it. God Bless you & yours and know that he'll be waiting for you at the Gates with a kind word...

OMG! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Darrell's smiling face in the obituaries. What a loss you, Darrell's family must feel. I didn't know him well but I worked for Ron Dove at United Grocers and Darrell seemed to be the happiest guy on the planet. He is going to be missed I am sure. It breaks my heart to see someone so nice leave us so soon. God obviously needed him more than any of us here on this earth. Someday we will all be seeing that beaming smile. What happiness he must...

Thanks for the many laughs at work. You will be missed.
