Darrell F. Sanders, age 55, departed this life Monday, May 16, 2011. Father of Darielle Lewis-Sanders. Son of Gordon and Gwendolyn Sanders; brother of Romona Fullman (Gary) and Jocelyn Sanders. Uncle of Christopher, Taylor and Nikesha Fullman and great uncle of Xavier. He is also survived by other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am, Saturday. May 21, at Cathedral Church of St. John, 10 Concord Avenue, Wilmington DE 19802. Viewing 8:30-9:30am, Kappa Service 9:30am. Burial Gracelawn Memorial Park.

OMG- Wow.. Darrell has been on my mind heavily for the past week or so. I decided to search and see what he was up to and was mortified to see his name appearing on this tribute page. I had to search images to make sure it was him.. We met during a south Jersey snow storm stranded in the airport right before he moved to Michigan. We shared a lot of laughs and had some good times. We both loved education and teaching. I went overseas for a year or so and didn't return until 2011, a few months...
