I am just now finding out about Darrel´s death and I am heart broken. I worked for Darrell in New Orleans and it was my favorite job, with a man who influenced me more than he realized. I have compared every other designer and boss I´ve had since to him. Such a huge talent! He could design anything from wedding dresses to international projects. My condolences to the family.
Darrell and I were friends back when he lived in New Orleans and owned the Diversity Gallery. He was blessed with such an amazing talent and had a stellar career. I was fortunate to have Darrell as friend and always enjoyed being around him. He lit up any occasion!
