Not sure what to say?

It seems too soon for a nice guy like Darren to leave. He is now in a great place,as he deserves to be.Brenda you are a strong woman and we know you will make it through this.Darren will live on in his children.

I will always remember the way you smiled when you saw me and how everyone would laugh and say I can't believe you can get him to smile... you will be missed friend by so many. We will look after Brenda and the kids from here.... rest now...

I learned of Darren's passing only today and am still stunned at the news. I fondly remember his sense of humor, ease with people and how he loved a good bear hug :) I would sit at the kitchen table with Brenda and he would wander in with a witty quip, wisecrack and always a warm smile. How lucky Brenda and I felt that we both got a second chance with a wonderful step dad for our children and father to another...He was generous with himself and all that he could give. I am really going to...

I was lucky enough to have known Darren all of my life since he lived behind us and him being my older cousin. Although he is family he was more like a great friend to me and someone I shared many interests, good times and life experiences with throughout the years. He had a heart as big as anyone I ever knew and would always be there for anyone who needed him, and was always the voice of reason. I am deeply saddened at his sudden passing and will surely remember him the rest of my...

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I will always remember the Darren I knew, the one who would carry me on his shoulders when I was a kid, and make me think my head would hit the door jamb, or tickle me until I was sick.....So many memories...Keep fishing will ya?

Darren was an awesome person, fisherman and husband. He will be so greatly missed! My deepest sympathies to Brenda and the family, may God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I know that the fish of the seas that Darren loved so were second to the love he had for his family. He told me so. He will be missed by us all.

Dad, I will never forget all the great times we had together. I'm sorry it happened this soon. At least I know you are in a place where the fish are always biting and running big. I will continue to get my masters in Marine Biology in honor of you. You will be missed greatly and I know you'll always be there with me on every fishing trip. I will never forget and always love you....

The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. We share your grief.
