Darren Andrew FLIGHT

I have, just today, discovered that Darren has passed away some 4 years ago now. I wanted to let his family know that I still speak of him today (am now 44 years old) as an incredibly talented footballer who I played with in under 9's. I sometimes catch up with old fiends from those days and invariably wind up talking about how good Darren was and I can still vividly remember the way he handled the ball and even the way he ran. No-one in our team could hold a candle to him. Those memories...

What a shock to learn albiet quite late about Darren's passing. Far too young. I have the memory of Darren being a part of the Richmond under 19's Premiership Team in 1989. God Bless you Darren.

We shared so many happy times, ones I will hold onto forever. I hope you are now smiling that beautiful smile of yours. You will always be in my heart Darren.
