Well D today is our birthday and although you are here with me in my heart as you are every other day its just not the same. I will celebrate it for the both of us...and I think I got a pretty good head start last night. I miss you and will always love you but my birthdays will never mean to me what they used to.

Darren was a very good friend of mine. We even shared the same birthday. He was and still is very special to me. I am still having trouble believing this is all true. I still expect to see him going down the road in the yota or seeing him at the river. I miss you D...very much. My heart goes out to the entire family. I love you all.

its been hard for me, Darren and me where and are best friends.It's not the same now he's gone. I ride by the house and sound off my pipes as he did to his mom and dad.I WILL MISS MY BOY..he is with Bubba and Goo now spendin Christmas in Heaven.the river is quite, but i know he's there.U will see his name on my back window of my truck,and on my heart...MISS AND LOVE YOU D.

I just learned of Darrens passing while checking my son's myspace. I went to school with him and he was such a sweet guy. I know he will be missed greatly. May God be with all his family at this difficult time.
