Not sure what to say?

Katina & Trevor, You two look amazing! Trevor I see your father in every way about you! I thought od Darrick today as I have been dealing with the loss of a close family friend. You two have always been in my thoughts and prayers. Andy

You´re so heavy on my heart lately, more than usual. You would be so proud that we´ve made it this far. Trevor is as tall as me now, his voice is getting deep, and he just finished middle school! We have a high schooler officially now. He is Big into Football, and video games with his friends! He will be playing football for the high school this coming year! He´s so excited about all of it! He´s brilliant! He always makes straight A´s! His braces will be coming off of his gorgeous smile on...

I served with Darrick in the 844th EN BN with deployment to Kuwait and Southern Iraq in 2004-2005. Today, Memorial Day 2022, I am thinking and smiling about my good friend, who I called "Hometown" because he was like a hometown friend I had known since childhood. His love for the Lord, fantastic smile and genuine nature I miss. Katina, I also pray today that you and your son are blessed by the Lord and continue to honor Darrick´s legacy. r/ Marty Lepak

Wow..... I've known Darrick since back in the mid80's before he could even shave... It breaks my heart to think of a World without his amazing smile & quick wit, always with a mischeavious crooked smile he flashed so easily.
Darrick was like my baby brother & our two families go back in their acquaintance before either of us was born, when Moses was in short pants......I know Darrick would be chuckling.
May your soul my beloved, beautiful friend rest easy in Christ although my...

Darrick,

Just wanted to say hello on this day of remembrance. Wish you were here to meet my family. And while I still believe it should have been me, I am happy that I have and am able to see daughter Grace, grow so fast.

My Big Brother

I miss you so much and I love you forever

Brother,

Its the first time I've written, although I think about you often. I can now talk about you, although it still effects me. You'd laugh at how soft I've gotten. I'm now a LTC in Seattle and am actually settling down. I was married last Sept to a good woman who can run faster than me (no surprise) & a devout christian. Yup laugh it up & she still married me. Wish you could have met her, but maybe in heaven where you both can laugh at my antics. Anyway, I miss you...

I had the privledge of meeting and working with Capt. Wright in Sadr City, Iraq. He made such an impression on me that I still think about him 6 yrs later. I only knew him for a few months and felt like I knew him all my life. RIP friend and I'm so glad to know you have a son to continue your legacy and spirit.
