Darrin Hakim Melvin

First I want to express my deepest sympathy to the Melvin Family. Darrin & I went to Elementary, High School, as well as college together. He was my room-mate at Upsala & we both DJ'ed around New Jersey. I have nothing but fond memories of him, and he will truly be missed.

My condolences go to Hakim's family.
Hakim was like a big brother to me while he lived in GA. He was a good person. He will be missed.

It was a shock to hear that Hakim passed away. I can still remember sitting in his home playing cards with him. I will remember the good times I had with him while living on Peshine Avenue, not only was he a friend, I considered him family. He will be truly missed. Your family will definitely remain in my prayers, and may GOD'S Peace surround you all.

Words cannot expresss the joy that Hakim has bought to so many of us, He always were smiling and would do anything to help you out, Hakim you will be truly missed, although I saw you saturday at the funeral parlor it still is hard to believe, that you went on to heaven, but I know you will always be here in spirit. love you and rest in peace.

Words cannot express how I feel at this time. When I found out I was in total shock. I thought about how we all grew up on Peshine ave and enjoyed the block parties with Hakim and Greg being the DJ's, and playstreet during the summertime. Please know that I love you all and Hakim will truly be missed. He was a good man and a good friend to all who knew him. I will keep you all in my prayers during this difficult time. Love Always
