We have so many wonderful memories of Darryl and we will always treasure the memory of our friendship, camping experiences and the delicious food he prepared for the Virginia Camping Cardinals. He was the kind of gentleman who never met a stranger; the first time we met he strolled over to our campsite with Thren, Cresendo and little big Darryl and introduced himself and his family to us -- the rest is history.
