Not sure what to say?

I´m years late. I´m fully aware of this, and the people may not even want to see this. I was young at the time. Six years ago, I was this extravagant example of a man´s student. 4th Period. I always look back on those years of my life, and his was hands down the best. No matter what happened to you, or how bad your day was, Mr. Butler always found a way to turn it around. I don´t even know how he managed to do it, it just sort of happened. He carried this great deal of positive energy... I...

I met Darryl at One Community Church. He was a regular presence there. I knew he was special and he called me Mama D. He even introduced me to Courtney and told me he would marry her. I was very fond of him and introduced him to my family. I will miss him but I know he's present with the LORD.

Darryl thank you for setting the example of how God wants us to be the light of the world. Thanks for checking on me and you never knew it was at odd times but it was Gods timing. You checked on me out the blue & it was when I most needed your encouragement. Thank you God for sending your Angel at YOUR appointed time. Always positive not a word of negativity! Gods light. Thanks bro and see you in Heaven and knowing God and you as an Angel now I know you will still drop in from time to time,...

VI was blessed to work with Darryl on the Singles Ministry at One Community Church. He is a gift from God. I loved him and honored to have had the opportunity to ministry with him.. My condolences to you Courtney and the Butler family.

You do not know us, but my family was on the ship and excursion with you in Roatan. We have mourned Darryl's passing and prayed for your family. We continue to lift you up.

My heart is sadden that I had to find out about this on Facebook. Such a WONDERFUL young man. Prayers are with you

Our cousin Darryl was a man of god, so I know he is with our Lord and savior Jesus christ. We love u, and you will forever be in our hearts.

Darryl was an amazing teacher, and friend. I was blessed to know him and teach with him in Little Elm. I strive to be as great of a mentor to kids as Darryl was. Prayers for Courtney and family.

Daryl, I remember our times at UNT, such a great guy. I remember how you looked out for us like an older brother.
It was amazing to see how God was settling you, I thought you would be on this earth longer, but things are not so.
Rest in the arms of the loving father Daryl. Till we meet again on the other side. RIP
