I had the gift of knowing him from his teen Mosswood days (Mosswood Park Children's Theater Teen Troupe, Oakland California's Recreation Department). Watched him grow into a talented adult and good friend. He left us too soon. But Darryl has left a legacy of wit and bravery. He inspired so many. Rejoice in the good memories of him.
