My Aunt Phyllis told me about my cousin dying...too sad. My memories are all of him being alot of fun. Thanksgivings at the Odd Fellows Hall, playing football...4th of July's out on the land. He will be missed

I wish I knew about it before today so this is short. Just went down the end of Feb to see him & Uncle Jud but missed them, wish I tried harder now.

I'm soo sorry about the loss of my cousin...he was always great fun. My memories are of Thanksgiving at the Odd Fellows Hall and playing football..4th of July...always lots of fun!! He will be missed

Darryl was a true inspiration as a big brother having already gotten into whatever mischief he could so he could spout his brotherly wisdom of dos and don'ts for his younger sisters. I truly admired his courage in dealing with his amputation. In usual Darryl fashion, he met the challenge head on and was impatient with the delays in living life. When he was diagnosed with lymphoma--again, he met the challenge head on and matter-of-factly. One day at a time as long as he was able to live life...

Darryl was the best brother. Our age difference also meant he was a father-figure to me as well. He gave me my love of computers and technology, taught me about bees and how to whistle using a grass stem. My brother never owned a horse or farm animal in his life that I knew of, but he cut and baled hay for ours - taught us how to do it to. He helped teach me how to drive. He taught me about the irreverent parts of life - he knew every joke, dirty or clean, loved rubber band fights and knew...

There are no words that discribe what comes from the heart.

Darryl you will be missed by every one whose life you touched, you are truly a great person and friend. I know you will live on in our hearts forever. Your boys that made you so proud and you did such a outstanding job raising will continue the Grave's legacy. RIP my friend.
