Not sure what to say?

I just learned about Darryl's passing yesterday. I send my prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

I just found out about Darryl "Bishop" Harris Sr.'s passing today. It hurt me to my heart because ever since I left the airport in 06, I've been trying to find him. I went my Smith & Gaston a few times but was never able to see him. He used to tell everbody that I was his niece, and I never said anything different. He will truly be missed, always loved, and forever remembered. I love you Uncle Bishop....TuKeeya "KeKe" Shavers

My condolences goes out to the Harris Family, Darryl was a lifetime friend of mine and he will truly be missed. He was a great man of honor and a devoted to the Lord, his wife and kids. I've known him since K-grade at HOPEWELL BAPTIST CHURCH. I remember when we use to chat across the street when i worked at fire station 6 across from Smith and Gaston when i saw him at work.Rest in Peace My Brother And watch over us Because we know you are in Heaven.I'm greatful to have you as a TRUE FRIEND...

I am so sorry to hear about Darryl. He was a great friend; an unfailing friend. Darryl taught me a lot about friendship during our days at PHS & Jefferson State. I pray that God grants the family unfailing strength to handle the days ahead.

Grace and Peace to you Liz & the boys, I'm just now getting the news TODAY that Daryl had passed. He was such a GREAT person and always FUNNY. Whenever we (Atlanta GMWA) would come to the anniversary, you guys always looked out for us. He will be greatly missed.

The news of losing this gift to life struck me with such sadness and disbelief. Darryl you were, back in High school, and, I'm sure ever since one of the few people that I knew who seemed to really enjoy life. I remember all those blistering summer days after band practice. There we were, the Marching Red Raiders all lined up at the band entrance to the school, legs bright red from stomping around in the dirt, beat-down and disgusted, waiting for someone to please hurry and unlock the door...

I remember Darryl as being so energetic and full of life. He was so family oriented. Anyone could tell he had a genuine heart. A rare commodity is gone, but rest assure God makes no mistakes. May God comfort the hearts and minds of his wife and children; and, all who mourns his passing.

Darryl Harris was the light of my life in high school, the best friend a person could ever want. Warm, loving, giving and fun. Darryl was family, the brother that i never had, and we remained friends past high school. Darryl Jr. and my son who is now 16 yrs. old went to daycare together, we were friends for along time. I want to remember Darryl as being all of the above. God has called home one of His best children to be with Him. We all loved him and we will miss him, but we do know that he...
