Darryl.what can i say.a very compassionate man.but some times you got it wrong and the damage was done.but you did realize mistakes and took it to heart.may your son and your grandchildren. Carry on your compassion!!!

I had been planning for months to call you.Such a loving and kind man.I waited to long.Just saw this sad news.Always a place in the hearts of the ones who loved you.

Mr. Hicks was my landlord. He took a chance on me and I thank God for his kindness. He was a good landlord and a pillar of the community. I know that he is with Jesus and someday I'll be there too. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Darryl hicks helped me out in a divorce, while he was skeptical of me a first, he did his job and in the end it didn’t end in my favor. The personal message Darryl sent to me has carried me throudh the years..Darryl knew the truth and showed me kindness in recognizing what the truth was. Good lawyers don’t always win.thank you Darryl for being so kind and seeing the truth.

Shirley and Tadf, so sorry to hear about your loss. Prayers to you both. Stay strong and look to Jesus. He will guide you. Remember the Sunday teachings you taught us, Shirley, you will find strength.

I consider myself fortunate to have known Darryl for many years. He was a great credit to the legal profession, and I enjoyed several opportunities over the years to be in his company. My condolences to his family.

I met Daryl in the 1940’s when he would stay at his grandma and grandpa’s next-door to us on Swan Avenue in St. Louis. He became more than a visitor he was a part of our family and all the neighborhood kids love being with him. We all have great memories of our early years on Swan and still see some of the old Gang, unfortunately the numbers are dwindling. We all loved Daryl and the Hicks and Lenox families.
