I'M SADDEN TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF A BIG BROTHER TO ME. DARRYL JONES'S I DO REMEMBER THAT HE WAS THERE FOR ME WHEN I CAME INTO THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS. AT LORTON. I'LL MISS HIM VERY MUCH. AND AGAIN IT'S SAD NEWS TO ME OF HIS PASSING.

I was deeply saddened to receive a call informing me that Darryl (DJ) had passed. Darryl was a great man and an even better teacher of the craft, any craft he knew he taught others well.
I was privileged to come under his schooling in three areas and in each one; he exemplified the true meaning of a MAN, BROTHER, and LEADER.
Darryl was very caring and demonstrated a genuine concern for anyone who had cause to encounter him.

I can't say enough about Darryl. He was a good friend and good co-worker. I can say I honesty love him cause you could alway depend on him to be there for you. My prays go out to his wife and family.
