Not sure what to say?

Remembering you today with warm affection.

Thinking of you today. Millicent

We last spoke at Kentucky Downs on Derby Day...He was forever the gentleman...Gracious, patient and virtuous...His passing was a shock to me...You could never have a bad day when you ran into Darryl...

MAY THE LOVE AND FRIENDS YOU HAVE AROUND YOU IN AND OUT OF OHIO CARESS YOU WITH WARM THOUGHTS AND AFFECTION KNOWING THAT HE WAS LOVE AND RESPECTED. GOD IS LOVE AND HE SHOWS HIS LOVE THROUGH THE WAY WE TREAT EACH OTHER. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU SECURE IN THOUGHTS.

Daryl was a good friend a excellent lawyer and always a gentleman many people will miss him

I was saddened to hear Darryl passed away. He and I were on opposing sides in several criminal cases before he retired from the U.S. Attorney's Office. Always the conservative, Darryl could frustrate me to no end sometimes. But he was always very professional and never less than a gentleman. We became friends
and after he retired I would see him every month at the CLE classes.
He appeared to be enjoying his retirement immensely so it's a shame he left us so soon. I was proud to know...

Darryl was a friend for many years. As United States Attorney I had the privilege and honor to hire Darryl as an Assistant US Attorney and he remained with the office until he retired. After I was appointed a Magistrate Judge he appeared before me on many cases. He was well respected by all he dealt with. He was a vigorous prosecutor who was respected as fair in all his dealings with opposing counsel and the court. He always had a friendly word while enjoying the sunshine and a good cigar...

I will miss you and all the laughs we shared rest in peace brother D. To your family may God richly bless all of you .

Darryl was a friend for over 30 years. I last saw him in February when he received the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Napier Looby Bar Association and he was as straight forward as always. Those of us in Nashville will miss and always remember him. Rest In Peace my friend. Monte Watkins
