Not sure what to say?

You were a marvelous Dad. A loving, strong, joyful model of a father. We had great times, and I will miss you dearly. Your daughter.

Uncle Dar walked the walk of a true Christian man. We will all miss his kindness, his smile, his love, his wisdom. He loved roses and I have planted a "Knock Out" rose in his memory, he was truly a knock out personality! He taught me how to grow the best tomatoes and we always had a race as to who could pick the first ripe tomatoe....he won all but one year. What a guy! I have been richly blessed to have had him for an Uncle.

Darwin has touched the heart of our congregation at the Penbrook church of God. We pray that God would hold him close in his arms even as he holds and comforts us in our loss. May God's peace rest with you his family.

Doctor Hoffman was our family dentist when I was just a little kid of about 5 yrs. old in '65. I'm guessing he retired around '75 because that's when I got a new dentist. When I was little, my strategy was to keep talking so that he couldn't get in my mouth, but he caught on. His nurse (I always thought it was his wife but now I'm not sure, however she had very long manicured nails with red polish, as I can remember, and used them very advantageously to get little cheeks pried open!) ...

Uncle Dar - May your life in Heaven be as great as your days on earth and may you touch as many hearts.

About fifteen years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Darwin and Gibbey when they would come to Sacramento.I loved talking with Darwin he was allways optimistic, and very kind. He will be missed. Love,Kim

Doc, always with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. It was evident that he enjoyed life to the fullest. Doc was the epitome of a gentleman. He will be missed be all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance. My condolences to his family, he was one of a kind.
