Not sure what to say?

Was a close friend in middle 60´s in AN Guard in B´ham, sorry to hear about his passing.

Darwin and I meet in the insurance industry and became immediate friends. We loved to challenge each other in golf and work and talk football. Other than his competitive spirit he always talked about his love for “Red” and his daughters and what they have meant to him throughout his life. Darwin will always be remembered as the Best at everything in my book!!! Roll Tide!!!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I will always remember Mr. Holt´s spirited and contagious laughter - I can hear it now in my mind as I type this. Your home was my favorite "home-away-from home" as a child because of your family´s fun, warm and joyful atmosphere (costumes, gaudy play makeup and the backyard playhouse among my favorite Holt memories!). Mr. Holt always had kind, funny words for Amanda and me and made us feel special. His warm loving way was contagious, spreading joyful vibes when our family would meet...

"Red" and girls I'm sure your hearts are hurting but what a wonderful husband and father you had. The memories will be with you forever. Our Prayers for you as always. Love Rose and Popo

He was a great athletic. My first meeting with Darwin ended with fists. From then on we were friends. I played sports with him for four years in high school. We both wanted to go to Texas A & M (where the Bearwas coach. I ended up at OState and after his freshman year he ent to Alabama. That was the last I saw of Darwin. Heard a lot of stories about him.

Saundra and Family, Janet and I are so sorry to hear about Darwin. He was a very fine man and a good friend to me. I know that he will be missed. We are praying for you to have peace and comfort during this difficult time.
