I'm so sorry to hear of Darwin's passing. He was such a great guy. The kids and I all enjoyed being a neighbor of Darwin and his family. My thoughts are with you.

I had the pleasure of being a good friend with Darwin over the years. I met him in the Army in August of 1983. He became my best friend then and will always be. We shared so many stories of our lifes and what the future would bring. For "D" his future was Verlinda(Cummings) and later in life, his two beautilful daughters Cherly and Monica.
I never had said in words to Darwin, how much he and his family means to me and my family but having the experiences with him says it all. I will...

I did not know Darwin but went to school with his wife, Verlinda. My sympathies go out to Verlinda and her daughters, Cheryl and Monica.
