Darwin was a really great uncle. He was a brother to my mother, Rita.

An elder that I respected and lived right. He showed me the right way as a young man that hard work is how you made things happen. Always sharing his ideas and a joke. Took me with his family to Canada at 12 years old camping and fishing. One night in the pop up camper Darwin was up in his underwear in the door trying to shoo the black bears away from the camper after us boys hung pork chops in the trees so we could see the bears. He sure enjoyed showing the boys the way things are...
