Not sure what to say?

Mr. Barkley stopped by the Leeds Theatre and Arts Center a few months ago. After looking at the art in the gallery he spent some time with me talking about the artist and the special piece she had painted for him. He left an impression on me that he was a very special man and that I was lucky to have spent that time with him. He talked about working with area kids and obviously had a heart for giving to the community. What a void he will leave. It will take many willing to step up to the...

We were very sad to hear about Mr. Barkley. He always had a smile and a hello for everyone. You are all in our thoughts and prayers

You all are in our thoughts and prayers. May God continue to bestow His manifold blessings upon you.

I was very sorry to hear of Daryl's passing. He and I were both regulars at Wal Mart and I enjoyed our coversations and catching each other up on our 'big' brothers and how our families were doing. He was always so positive and funny. I'll miss our chats.

My family and I were so sad to hear of Daryl's passing. We met Daryl at Cedar Grove when my son attended daycare there. He always had a kind word and a smile every time we saw him. Our thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.

I always looked forward to Daryl's smile and encouraging words when he stopped by Chick-fil-A. I will miss him!

Daryl, I will miss your smiling face and your craziness. May you rest in peace my friend. Please be encouraged family because there is no better place to be than in the arms of the Savior.

To all of Daryl's loved ones:
As already stated, he met you with a smile and a hello whether he knew you or not and I will always remember that. You could tell he was God's child and happy to have the extra years to serve on this earth.

Barkley Family,
Its difficult to find the words at a time like this one, so I will just say that my family and I are praying for you all that God will surround you with his Holy Spirit and bring you comfort and peace in your time of sorrow. It was my pleasure to know Daryl and I will think of fondly. I am very sorry for your loss. Lynnette England LES nurse
