Not sure what to say?

He lived a wonderful, fulfilled life. He befriended me when we were working on the Northrup Flying Wing prototype (N9MB) for the Planes of Fame museum in Chino. He was extremely generous. I will never forget his kindness -- he gave me a thrilling ride in the "Lady Jo" and then later took me up again. A once in a lifetime ride, I had it twice thanks to Daryl. God bless him and the lovely family he leaves behind. We lost a great American in Daryl. -- John Bohner

Daryl was a very generous man for sure. Family always was first and foremost. Met him on the Flying Wing project and instantly became friends. He was always quick to offer a ride two times a week in his beloved P-51 which is a rare opportunity for anyone. He will be missed horribly, and I am sad knowing he is gone, but feel that I am a better man for having known and spent time with him.. safe passage friend, thanks for being here and making a difference in so many peoples lives.

Daryl was a kind and generous man. I worked for Daryl at All Coast Forest for 7 years. I will always remember our Sales retreats to Lake Havasu. Largest and best steaks ever. Every year one lucky salesman was flown over in the P51 Mustang we sponsored at the Reno Air Show.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Kent (AKA-). We had some good times...

I will never forget Daryl : as a Belgian planes lover Private Pilot he introduced me to warbirds in 1994 and later to the Reno Air Races with his tremendous generosity and friendliness. Last time I met with Daryl was in 2012 for another flight in Lady Jo with Rob Gordon at the controls. A great guy I was proud to met ! Thank you once more for everything you offered me, Dear Daryl.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I will remember his perpetual smile

A most generous heart will never be forgotten. I loved talking airplanes with you Daryl, you were a huge influence on my career as a pilot. Thank you for sharing your hangar parties, airplane rides and stories with us all. Godspeed

I'm so sorry to hear about Daryl

A highly accomplished, productive, fun-loving, and beloved gentleman, who served nobly in the USAF. Your drive, presence, and zest for life will never be forgotten, Daryl.
