Daryl was a mentor-like figure to me as a young woman at Ventura First Assembly. He and his wife Marion were so warm and caring to me. I played piano for him a few times and his tenor voice was amazing. I missed him when he and Marion moved. Heaven is richer and someday we will have a grand reunion! I remember Daryl as a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. But I also remember him as a caring brother who was always there for me growing up when I needed a refuge. As years passed, he became more than an older brother, he was my friend too.
