Not sure what to say?

Daryl and I were partners in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at HMC for almost 10 years. I was a young graduate when I started at HMC, and was fortunate to have Daryl as a partner. I learned a lot from Daryl, not just respiratory, but how to take my time to do things the right way, and to not sweat the small stuff. Dear Mrs. Shaffer and family I was one of Daryl's many Respiratory students. I thank him for the knowledge he has passed onto me and the confidence that Daryl had instilled in me to succeed in my profession. My heart and prayers go to you all as Daryl has ascended to be with the Lord. Thank you Daryl for everything you have done.
With Much Admiration, Jennifer L. Miller and Family

Mike, we send our condolence to you and your family. I asked my angels to help with the passing if that be God's Will and so it was. I hope his passing will bring him great peace. Love Light & Joy, Maggie & Chuck Aldinger

On this Cold Morning of December 10th I want to say good-bye to my Father Daryl Allen Shaffer, he was a Man's Man, a mentor, a true worldly Gentlemen & Scholar, a Jack of all Trades, but most of all he was my Father & my Hero whom I Loved & miss Dearly. But I take great pride in that through his untimely passing he will help so many around Christmas through his organ donation. Rest In Pease Dad, Godspeed, we will never ever forget you!!! Your Legacy will live on through us all. Now be with...

Words seem so empty but I want you all to know I could tell Daryl was very special by seeing how much he was loved. So sorry it had to be under these circumstances that the Lord made our paths to cross as I cared for him in SICU. My heartfelt condolences to each of you in your loss. Numbers 6:24-26
