Dear Spies family it is with a heavy heart I feel while writing this.Yes Daryl was a good man I'm glad I worked with him at the hotel for 10 years But I will always remember when I saw him for the last time in the summer of 2020 down here in Chippewa lake testing out his new jet ski. The Burkhart family sends our condolences for your loss

I met Daryl at the Gemini Center. We had a friend in common.
I admired his attitude and fight.
To talk to him it was like he didn’t have a problem in the world.
