Mr. Daryl Sterling Yoder

Mr. Daryl Sterling Yoder, 80, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at his residence, following a period of declining health. Daryl was born on July 21, 1940 in Catawba County to the late William McKinley Yoder and Thirsie Young Yoder. Daryl loved to hunt, read and to watch football, baseball and racing. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Yoder, former wife, Judy Yoder and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Robert Yoder and wife Loretta; grandson, McKinley Yoder and wife Hannah, and Isaiah Powers; granddaughters, Annedramada Yoder and America Powers; two great granddaughters, Arietta and Addilynn Yoder; several stepchildren and step grandchildren; sisters, Blaka Abee and husband Leonard, Olivia Crow of Georgia; brother, Colin and wife Renee; Mr. Yoder will lie in state at Heritage Funeral Service on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
