I’m very late here but wanted to chime in. Dave was by far the greatest gym teacher of all time! We Manchestorions Will forever tell our stories about this legendary man. He made sports better and more exciting than anyone else could. He energy and efforts were enjoyed by all. He made you grow up and demanded respect witch he got and deserved! Reading about Dave takes me back to a wonderful time in my youth.
Dave was more than a coach, teacher, friend or mentor. He was family.
We miss him and will always know we were better for having been lucky enough to have him in our lives for as long as we did. Buddy Bond

Patsy I never had the pleasure to meet you, But Dave was such a mentor to me and so many students. He started me wrestling in the second grade. I have recently contacted most of my classmates and we have had long discussions about Dave. Most are living far away and did not know he had passed. As he is in your mind every day . He is in mine. He was a great man and has brought tears to my face this morning. I didnt know he passed until just know. He was superman to me and I thought he...
