May you rest in peace Dave you'll be soul y missed! !

I am so sorry to have just learned of Dave's passing. I am not surprised by everything he did/accomplished later in life. I have such fond memories of working for him while at the Jai-Lai. He was so compassionate and generous then, it's no wonder he carried those qualities into his political activism. Heaven has certainly gained an angel. Thoughts and prayers to you, Sherrie & family.

Dave was great inspiration to support at OSU in 2008 during the Obama campaign. We'll miss you Dave.

How we will miss this wonderful, kind person, Dave; always helping someone, kind, thoughtful and a true Democrat.Thank you Girves family for everything you did and do.

Our condolences go out to you. Dave's presence will be sorely missed. He was a quiet leader, a kind man and a good friend.

Dave touched so many lives. It was an honor to have met him in 2008 through the Barack Obama campaign. He was an inspiration to so many, his energy was amazing. So sorry for your loss.

Dave was a terrific inspiration to all of us, regardless of age. He will be greatly missed. I'm sorry I'm not in Columbus to attend the memorial service to express my sympathy to his family and friends in person. With best regards, Vivian Harvey
