My husband Dave and I valued Dave and Mary Hager as dear,dear friends.I also was glad to read that Dave remarried, and I had a feeling that Anne was his choice.She is a lovely person whom we knew quite well through Central Reformed. Dave was my patient for many years. I looked forward to seeing him, as visits often involved a discussion of his philosophy of life, his walled-in garden, and his home-made wine. It was my privilege to know him and I'm grateful to his family for sharing him with me.
The world was a better place for Dave's having been in it.
