Not sure what to say?

Dave Hager changed my life. He enabled my achievement of a college BA degree and a good life which would have been most unlikely without his encouragement and assistance. I have never forgotten his kindness. He was one of the most important people in my life. I only now learned of his death, so perhaps no one will see this, but I needed to say it to the universe.

The Hager Family, We knew your folks when they lived in Lansing and kept in touch and only later with Christmas cards until after your Mom passed away. We were blessed to know them and know the loss you feel at this time. May God bless you with His peace and comfort.

Dave we will miss you on our golf league. I enjoyed our weekly walks and chats on the course. Heaven has gained a good man.

Dave was my patient for many years. I looked forward to seeing him, as visits often involved a discussion of his philosophy of life, his walled-in garden, and his home-made wine. It was my privilege to know him and I'm grateful to his family for sharing him with me.

The world was a better place for Dave's having been in it.

Dear Ann, what to say when a kind and thoughtful man as Dave was when he leaves us. I have such special memories of him at GRCC and then seeing the two of you sitting along the Grand River in Grand Haven. May your 6 years of marriage give you comfort. Please let us know when you have a Celebration of Live so I can attend.
