Not sure what to say?

Opening day here in Milwaukee today 3/28/19 and I miss hearing Davey Nelson.
Feeling sad.

When I was a young girl back in Cleveland I had a Davey Nelson Fan Club. It was just me and some of my schoolmates but we got to meet him and it was the best day of my young life. I continued to follow him while he was a coach here in New York and have been a life time fan. Thank you, Davey, for enriching so many lives along your journey. Well done!

Davey was the most dedicated, devoted and caring friend I ever had.For nearly 20 years, he drove or flew 2,600 miles round trip just to buy his cars from me. We enjoyed many dinners and lunches together with my friends and family. He treated us to many of the Brewers games and always's made you feel like part of the team and part of his family. The world lost a great man. I will never forget you Dave, God bless you....Buzz Kerchelich

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family for their loss of their loved one, who will be remembered for his athletic ability. May you find comfort and help in God during this time of sorrow.

may the lord watch over you, enjoyed your comments on fox sports...Joser

What I will always remember is that whenever I spoke with David, he made me feel like the most important person in his life. He had that gift - along with so many others. His gentle spirit and compassionate soul will be so missed here on earth. Rest in peace my friend.

Our sympathies to Mr. Nelson's loved ones. As you cope with the pain of your loss, please gain support from our loving Heavenly Father.

While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, we look forward to the time when words will fail to capture the joy of having our heavenly Father return your dear one to you. May you treasure the wonderful memories of Mr. Davey Nelson. We hope these words can be a source of comfort for you and your family.

"Happy are the mild tempered since they will inherit the earth." So sorry for your great loss. Matt.5:5
