Thinking of you and your family often. I wish we could have seen all the great things you still would have had ahead of you.

At 41, David B. Brady had the trappings of success: an office on the 39th floor of the World Financial Center, where he was a first vice president at Merrill Lynch, and a home in Summit, N.J.
He also had his priorities: faith, family and friends. A devout Catholic, he attended Mass almost every day and occasionally wrote prayers, said his wife of 12 years, Jennifer. But he never made a big deal of it.
"He would just say, 'I'm doing a cameo,' " said Joy Fingleton, an assistant.
And he made sure that his four children — Matthew, 9; Erin, 6; Mark 4; and Grace, 2 — saw him every day. "If he had an evening meeting, he'd stay home for breakfast," Ms. Brady said. "Or sometimes he'd even come home for lunch."
He was an eager school volunteer. "I think it was shocking to his clients, who would call to find out that he was gone for an hour but he would be back from reading in his daughter's class out in Summit, N.J.," Ms. Brady said.
On Sept. 11, he went to 1 World Trade Center to meet with a client on the 106th floor. Now, every night his family prays for him with the words he taught them: "Thank you, Jesus, for the love you bring. Thank you, Jesus, for everything."
Thinking of you and your family often. I wish we could have seen all the great things you still would have had ahead of you.

I was a client of David. I can recall his impressive office with the large painting of Lincoln behind his warm and welcoming smile. David was always upbeat, honest and honorable in every way. Every year, like today, I listen for his name to be called at the NYC Memorial. Knowing his devout faith, I once asked David how that paired up being in a field of money-making. He simply said, "Jane, if I can make someone like you have a more comfortable life, that works for me." I pray David´s wife...

I knew David from Ramapo High School he was 1 year behind me. As every one has said he was a very likable and friendly and funny young man. I think of him often when I walk past his memorial in WYCKOFF and when I pass the family house on WYCKOFF avenue. May his soul rest in peace. Further Moe by chance, while looking for one of my friends in a cemetery in Franklin lakes I actually stubbles upon David´s rest place. Funny how that happened. I will always remember Daviid and honor his memory...

I attended school with Dave from first grade on. He was a funny and very likable fellow. He is the only casualty of 9-11 that I personally knew. I think of him often, and hope his family knows that we are remembering him on this solemn 20th anniversary of that terrible attack. He is missed.

wow. It has been one year since I found this guest book when I was trying to learn more about the late father of one my very best friends, Grace Brady. Today I took the time to read 20 years of people remembering Mr Brady for the amazing man he was and continues to be through his loved ones. I have learned that Mr. Brady exudes the same qualities that make Grace one of a kind: hard working, incredibly witty, comforting to all, a contagious smile, and a heart so big you wonder how it even fits...
