David Robert Levine, of Philadelphia, passed away tragically with his beloved wife Tetiana “Tania” Levine (nee Nimylowycz) on October 4, 2016.
He was the devoted father of Monica Celeste Levine and Julian Andrew Levine. Loving son of Stanley and Patty Levine. Dear brother of Susie Gross (Donald), Hank Levine (Jill) and Betsy Levine-Brown (Marc). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service Sunday October 9, 1 PM at McConaghy Funeral Home, 328 W. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore, PA. with visitation with the family to follow until 4 PM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Autism Speaks, Attn: Web Gift, 1060 State Rd., 2nd FL., Princeton NJ 08540 or to Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR), 1149 Pike Springs Rd, Chester Springs, PA 19425.

Met David in Cornell summer program in high school. We played lots of ping pong and backgammon. Dave was one of the very few people I really liked in our class at Wharton. He was willing to listen and to act on my outside the box ideas. I was happy to show Dave a scheme to beat the dorm room lottery so that he got an amazing room in the Quad junior year. I've known David, Tania, Julian and Monica for roughly 13 years, as well as Tania's parents as well. They are all very special people who were so positive. I just heard this extremely sad and upsetting news about David and Tania. My heart goes out to the entire Levine family for this sudden and tragic loss. My husband Eric was a fellow options trader on the PHLX with David many years ago, and the four of us used to socialize together. May the extended Levine family find strength with one another and within your communities, and please know that David is missed and that our thoughts and prayers are with you.
