David Adkins

        David Adkins, 55, of Pinsonfork, KY, passed away Friday morning, July 30, 2021, at his residence. David was born August 22, 1965, in Belfry, KY, the son of Ardelia Stanley Adkins of Rockcastle County, KY, and the late Johnny Adkins. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Lisa Owens and Tina Stanley. He was a diesel mechanic having worked on coal trucks.
        Other survivors include his wife, Opal Kenyon of Pinsonfork, KY; his children, David Keith (Tia) Adkins of Sidney, KY, Misty Dawn (Chris) Deskins of Williamson, WV, Joey Kenyon (Shelby Gregory) of Pinsonfork, KY, and Erik (Samantha) Kenyon of Pinsonfork, KY; his siblings, Teresa (Gary) Frith and Brian Adkins of Rockcastle County, KY; his grandchildren, Gage Davis, Noah Kenyon, Laiken Adkins, Joshua Adkins, Dani Hammonds, Kelsi Deskins, McKeynzi Deskins and Nanette Kenyon; nieces, Crystal Clark of Berea, KY, and Doris Ann Castanien of DeFiance, Ohio; nephews, Nathaniel and Joshua Nicholson of Kentucky; his good friends, Timmy Francis, Rick Smith, Tina Triplett and many other family and friends.
