Not sure what to say?

Unforgettable!❤❤❤

I remember David well. He was a good soul with a good heart. We will always remember him.

He made music exciting. He brought it truly to life. I met him once on a bus traveling from Binghamton to New York City and I had the chance to say thank you...as a young kid I would drive from Corning to the BC Pops/Symphony Concert. His work and his life mattered to people young and old, near and far. RIP Maestro.

Great memories of Dave as the conductor of the Musical of Theatre of Broome's show West Side Story. He was there at every rehearsal pushing us to be our best! We all learned a lot from him and will miss him.

David was part of my childhood summers at Lake Petonia many years ago. I remember going canoeing and mini-sailing with him on his little super-sailboat. What a wonderful place it was on the lake. It was a privilege to have a cottage there. (Thanks to our parents). I always used to look across the lake to his family's dock to see if they were there that weekend. If David was available, there was sure to be fun ahead! So keep the porch-light on Up There for the rest of us so we can...

So sorry to hear about Mr. Agard. I remember attending most of his concerts (The BC Pops, Pops on the river). I enjoyed listening to his concerts and watching him conduct. I never knew he played the violin but I knew his wife did because I took some violin lessons from her. He and his family where very nice and very musical inclined. Prey are with you and your family . So sorry to hear of your loss.

I have fond memories of David in the BC Pops during my late high school and early college years. He was an inspiration to me as a young musician (bassist) and a great influence as I became a music major and now a music teacher.

My thought and prayers are with you!

Sincerely,
Kristin (Latini) Benson

David was always forgiving and understanding of all my inadequacies and idiosyncrasies. At my age and experience, that was tremendously nurturing and empowering. I was always grateful to him and will remain so. Peace to the whole family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as we fondly remember all the wonderful performances David gave and his great talent shared with the community.
