David was such a warm person--kind, caring, always generous with his time and positive about life. We shared a passion for genealogy so we had some interesting and fun conversations by telephone and at genealogy events. I will miss my friend. He will be missed by many. God bless David, and God bless his sister for being there when he needed her.

You were one year and 12 days older than me and I was fortunate to spend the last year and 10 days taking care of you. During which time we talked, laughed, lunched, watched movies, visited friends and spent many hours at the hospital. I miss you terribly and wish I had one more day to spend with you. I miss you big brother!

David was such a kind and generous man in life and in his genealogy work. It is very hard to imagine not being able to pick up the phone and call him to discuss the latest genealogy stumbling block. He loved to connect people with common causes and we all benefited from this generosity. I hope from where he is now that he can see the answers to all those family connections that puzzled us.
Please accept my condolences for your loss.

I am so glad that I was fortunate to have you for an Uncle. You touched many hearts during your time here on earth and I am glad that I was one of them. You left so many with memories they will be unable to forget. I was proud that you lived every day getting to know all about your family and where WE all came from. You taught me that it's okay to be make friends with strangers. That you never knew who they would end up becoming. I never knew anyone else that would see a picnic in a park,...
