Kyle “David” Albright, also known as “Big Dave”, age 60, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at his residence.


David was born on August 28, 1962 in Somerset, KY to Jerome Kyle Albright and Carol Ann Bolton Albright. He was a 1980 graduate of Pulaski County High School.  David was a member of The Creek Church in Somerset. He enjoyed woodworking, building houses and churches.  He went on several mission trips to help build churches.  David was employed by the City of Somerset Street Department.


David is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly Ann Loveless Albright, whom he married on April 8, 2006 in Somerset; two sons; Colton Albright of Somerset and Michael (Brittany) Phelps of Richmond; two daughters, Skye Albright of Somerset and Meghan New of Somerset; one grandchild, Rhett Phelps; three brothers, Jodi (Annette) Albright of London, Jami Albright of Somerset and Chris (Tina) Albright of Somerset; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby (Mary) Loveless of Somerset; special sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sheri (Rick) Haynes; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bobby Joe (Alicia) Loveless; and a special nephew, Jeremiah Haynes.


David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edgar (Dovie) Albright; and maternal grandparents, Coy (Lucille) Bolton.


Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.


David’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Austin Upchurch and Bro. Douglas Walden officiating.  Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chris Albright, Jodi Albright, Jami Albright, Michael Phelps, Colton Albright, Bobby Joe Loveless, Rick Haynes, Curt Rader, Rick Bolton, Dale Whitaker and R.C.  Emerson.


Donations may be made to The Creek Church or New Life Church in memory of David Albright for Missions.

Kim and family, we know your heart is broken, and we also know that you will understand why none of us could come to the viewing or funeral. Right about this time last year we lost our beloved Chuck. So sorry to hear about Big Dave's Passing. He was always a good friend to me. We always had something to laugh about when we crossed paths. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.

Dave was along time friend an I have many great memories prayers to his wife an entire family fly high Dave we will see you again someday
