David Mark Allen

David Mark Allen, 79 of Sebring, FL passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Sebring, FL. He was born on September 26, 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late Samuel Allen. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sandy Allen. David leaves behind his daughter Beth Lang of Sebring, FL and two grandchildren; Cody and Dustin Lang and three great grandchildren; Scarlett, Kensley and Kiley Lang. He also leaves behind a sister; Mary Maire and brother; Tom Allen. David moved to the area from Fort Lauderdale some forty years ago and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Lake Placid, FL. He loved fishing, mechanical work, meals on wheels, darts, ballroom dancing, like to take cruises and visit the casino and like the outdoors and boating. Memorial contributions can be made in David’s name to the Manna Ministries in Lake Placid, FL.

Dave's passing is a sad event for Beth & her family but the good new is he is with Sandy, the love of his life. We met both Dave and Sandy at the Lake Placid Elks, they were both involved for many years in their community, Elks, Food Bank, etc. They both have been on several of our trips and we always had great fun.
