Whatever his role in your life; father, brother, husband, best friend, most-beloved; for me he was a delight in my life. I only saw Gaz a couple of times a year but he was always kind, funny, thought-provoking, slightly irreverent and charming. Celebrate him. Laugh, tell stories, remember how he could drive you crazy!!, love him now and forever - just like you always have.

No one ever understands the hurt when a close and very wonderful friend leaves you. Mr David, you are so very much missed and I know your beautiful children are so very blessed to have such a remarkable father.

I was shocked by the news that David had been killed in a bike accident in Mississippi. The message did not get through promptly, and I only found out today, Oct. 31. I knew Dave at Measurement Inc, the test-grading gig. David has a great spirit, which will serve him well in his new life. We enjoyed a great meal at a Cajun restaurant in Nashville before he went to Arizona. I find it interesting that he died on the Natchez Trace almost 200 years to the day after another outstanding American...

To the family and loved ones of David B. Allison, Senior:

I did not know Mr. Allison, but I happened to be on the Natchez Trace the same afternoon that he was killed. I am an avid cyclist and I haven't been able to get him off of my mind. I will continue to pray for the family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
